After having a stroke, we can lose our confidence. Many of us ask the question “Will I ever be confident in life again?”
It seems like our strengths and unique gifts we bring to the world are diminished.
We begin to underestimate ourselves and overestimate the people we are around.
This is natural!
We tend to look at ourselves based on our abilities. And, after having a stroke, we often lose sight of our goals or lack the motivation to achieve them.
It is easy to get worried, angry and frustrated as we push to bet back on a path of accomplishment and significance in our lives.
You’re not the only one!
Everyone has problems in their lives. Some problems are bigger, I’ll give you that. However, your own problem can seem dis-proportionally huge, depending on your own perspective.
Let me ask you…what was your perception of yourself before your stroke?
How did you measure your own value?
Did you go from being confident and in control to being dependent afterward? Is this dependency a bit of what you have gone through since your stroke?
It’s time to grow your own BASE Confidence again.
You want to lead the quality of life and grow your own belief in yourself.
Confidence is something that must be worked on continuously.
Remember, you are still here!
You have been given a new life after the stroke.
You were given the chance to renew your life and find that new meaning. It’s time to begin to do the work to get your confidence back.
It is critical to believe in yourself and find passion again.
Remember! It is time for you to decide that you will take action and begin to release those limiting beliefs and develop a strategy to reinforce a positive mindset.
It’s time to regain the confidence that you need to continue on your own journey.
Please focus and continue to learn and grow.
